I started having problems with my digestive system in July 2007, my stomach would bloat as if i was 7 months pregnant! After numerous visits to the doctors and trying to omit certain foods from my diet, I decided to have a test with Yorktest Laboratory in March 2010 after suffering for 3 years. It turned out, by having a simple blood test, that I was intolorent to gluten, yeast and dairy products (casein).
I have been on a gluten, yeast and casein free diet for the past 2 years and feel like a different person! I recently tried goats milk, although I loved the taste, I had a bad reaction, which took about 3 days to leave my system. I can tolerate goats yogurt and goats cheese in small amounts. I am yet to try the new almond milk, which I understand is one of the best you can have! Has anyone tried it?
